I’ve got race face evolve xc cranks. To remove the drive side you are supposed to use a puller e.g. park ccp-44. I dug around in the garage and found an old tool from waaaay back over ten years ago when I last had an ISIS BB and found park cp-4. Thing is the cranks did not budge that easily. Is it a case of:

    More power required

    or

They have sneakily changed the ‘standard’ and I’m going to strip the crank threads

    ?

You sure it’s supposed to need a puller? Mine has a self-extracting bolt

Aren’t all raceface cranks the same?

Leave the 10mm top cap alone, and use an 8mm allen key?

Make sure that there wasn’t a washer under the crank bolt head which stayed in place.
