Getting cheap chainrings has been difficult lately.

Go for the Middleburn ones instead.

never had middleburn…wot are they like….. also got race face on my specialized hardtail too… They seem to last along time and i ride alot…. actually just spotted some on stif.co.uk….

No!! I fitted a brand new Middleburn middle ring and got really bad chainsuck when shifting down to my inner ring, every time. So bad that it would jam up completely. The bottom of the ring just didn't want to let go of the chain. Changed it for a Race Face one which is fine. Middleburn inner ring is ok though.
