what do you reckon is the quickest way to get up to speed on a bike?
Say from a stopped start at a traffic light I reckon there's 3 ways.
1. Start in small gear big cog and quickly flick up through the gears as you pick up speed.
2. Start in high gear little cog and pedal as quickly as you can (slowly at first obvisouly) to get up to speed.
3. Somewhere in between, which is what I tend to do. Standard 3x9 set up I'll put the front in middle and the back like 3 from the very biggest, then I'll pedal as quickly as possible and flick the front to the big ring and carry on.....
but which is better? ..... there's only way to find out..
