    I’m looking to do a ‘quick’ loop tomorrow afternoon enroute to Inners. I have 2hrs maximum to fit in a ride on my Enduro Harpoon™ machine and don’t want to use up too much energy. Which loop has the least climbing? Ta

    Least climbing, probably Newcastleton.

    There was a diversions in place at Newcastleton last week when I was there. The Scottish Rally is in town here in Dumfries and is using Ae forest over the weekend so there will be closures at some point up at Ae.

    The rally at Ae is this weekend.
    But the forest is being used now for practice. Due to completely inadequate signing my wife and dog almost got run over this morning whilst out walking – not realising that they were in any danger.
    Think Ae is best avoided at present.

    Could be handy for an uplift though if you do go to Ae 😉
