    Unscrewed the hose from my Reverb today to re-route the hose. Was as careful as possible to keep the hose end ‘high’ but with everything reconnected pressing the trigger no longer releases the post to drop.

    Will a bleed fix this or have I borked it totally?

    Bleed. Will be fine, unless you also broke something else.
