    Hi,

    Sorry this is a bit of a neewbie question but can I put pair of quick release links on a Shimano CN-HG54 10spd chain?

    Yes – 10sp Connex or KMC will be fine.
    Connex would be my choice – always easy to undo with your hands – never had a problem with them in over 9 years of using them on MTB and road bikes.
