My saint rear hub has that bolt through setup.,however, I remembered today that when I got my Wanga frame it came with a strage looking oversized quick release.

I just dug it out and found that it fits the bolt through, it’s a threaded bit of metal with a hole through it for the quick release and the quick release appears to work.

Am I going to burst into flames and die if I try this?

I’ve had a google and can’t seem to find anything similar.
