When the battery dies does the light dim, or just shut off completely?

Also is anyone else having problems with the light dimming for high to low?

I need to keep flicking thru the different modes to try and get it to stay on high.

Mine just cut out when it ran out of juice. Never noticed any dimming at all. Never had it switching between modes either. Sounds like yours is dicky.

thanks devs. I thought it was goosed when it left me in dark in middle of forest.

At least I know that was normal, although I had charged it plenty before I used it.
