    Off road:
    1. Formula T1 with their rotors (180/160) & sintered pads.
    2. 73kg
    3. Light & early by preference but not always possible.
    4. No probs; v occasional squeal.

    Road/gravel:
    1. SRAM Hydro-R,their rotors (160/160), stock pads
    2/3/4. All as above.

Personal preference I know but I wouldn’t consider mechanical discs.

    1) Ultegra 685. About 2 years old/5000 miles of commuting, road riding and muddy off road. All still as it came on the bike – pads, rotors, fluid etc. Have never touched anything on them
    2) 85kg
    3) Light and early
    4) Been brilliant. Just keep working, seem to last well (still on original pads) and not had to bleed. Only issue is my rear rotor has warped a little so can’t quite get it not to skiff. Need to bend it back a bit.
