    genesis latitude frame, bottom pull front mech required.

    this;

    or this;

    CRC descriptions have left me confused tonight (am very tired!). but i think the top one is the one required…

    Either, look for “Dual Pull design for use with top or bottom cable routing” in the description

    i did, and the bottom one said dual pull, but it also said ‘for top pull frame designes’ – so i got confuddled.

    so if they both work with both pulls, whats the point in having both types? and which should my friend get for her latitude?

    Clamp placement.The first one is ‘conventional’ the second is ‘top swing’.O full sus designs the main pivot placement affects where you can clamp it to the seat tube i.e Orange 5 needs a topswing but yeti 575 needs a conventional.Either will fit the genesis (bottle boss issues not withstanding!).

    I have a top swing on my Genesis Altitude (last years Latitude).

    If either will fit your particular frame, get the conventional swing. The pivotal need to last longer and the arc keeps a little closer to the rings for better shifting.
