If I’m running it on full beam can I make it so that I can tap it and it will go to it’s lowest beam?
Would it’s lowest beam be ok on the road and will it turn itself off going don a set of steps?

    Read the instructions.
It’s probably one of the programmes (also etched on the light)

Yes you can. Video on USE site to show you how it’s done. Low beam on mine (which is a couple of years old) is still bright enough for road/non downhill stuff. Never turned itself off yet!

I have a new one (mark 8?). Double tap the light or helmet to turn to low from high, or single tap to Med. You can set the sensitivity too. Ample power for road on low and it’s never turned off or even down on DH tracks. The extra support cell is worth the money if you want longer burn times.

You really need to read the instructions!

Can’t read the instructions as I haven’t got one yet!
As to road use I meant is it dim enough?

Let me get that for you

Click my patronising link, bottom of the PDF shows the program modes, you can have high/medium and a lower setting with 2 levels of output with longer runtime.
