So this new bike (1×10) I’ve got has an x9 med cage clutch mech and an x0 chain guide bash thing.
When it was delivered one of the spacers was missing on the guide and the bolt was just left loose. Subsequently it was rubbing on the little jockey wheel which got me investigating.
As I never had any of these features on a bike before could you tell me whether it should feel stiff when turning the cranks in reverse. I appreciate you don’t pedal this way but I assume its the same when going forward.

    This one?
My 2 piece devices have been a little more sluggish backwards. You need to balance how tight up the roller is really, too close and it can rub, they can also be sensitive to angle
