    change your base to Dolgellau and then do Cadair Idris for natural on Sat then Coed y brenin on sunday?

    How does Cadair Idris hold up in the wet? I’m down there this weekend but the weather looks pretty miserable and I had been considering doing Cadair Idris.

    Edit: How long should be allowed to complete it?

    Cowlyd and Crafnant is a lovely ride:

    The bit along the shore of Cowlyd works in both directions. Some prefer the rest clockwise, I’ve only done it anti-clockwise. Can also be extended to incorporate some or all of the old Marin trail.

    Yes, the Cowlyd and Crafnant loop is great, or just Crafnant with a bit of the marin trail.
