Hi there, we’ve just had a load of single/double track ‘improved’through some local woods, and I’m going to be starting a PR campaign to try and stop further work.

I was hoping somebody with access to pricing books/software could do me a quick calc.

Construction as follows:
2.5m wide
say geo-textile/300 T1/100 BitMac

Plus the cost of the dig, and add in a little topsoil clearance and a bit of brush and the occasional tree to get rid of.

Road access and soil drainage is pretty good.

A quick thumb-in-the-air £ per linear meter would be really helpfull.
