Anyone used one? Any good? Seems a reasonable price compared to most.

And yes, I know I can make my own…

Make sure it does 1.5″ cups too.

Personally I’d stretch to a Cyclus or equivalent as they’re more flexible.

Again, make sure it comes with bits that fit larger cups (vicar)

    It sez…

“Compatible with all headset cup sizes”

…it would appear to handle all cup sizes then? (matron).

ah, It presses on the flats of the cups. Most sit inside the cup so the threaded bar stays central.

    Carry on.

So not ideal in that case then? How does it keep itself central and perpendicular?

    I’ve got one
It does do both 1 1/8 and 1 1/2 cups. Not perfect as whilst it does have a raised section to hold the cup it wasn’t that tight so there is movement and you need to be careful to keep the threaded rod central.
Better than a homemade effort, not as good as one twice the price but better design e.g. Park tools

Great thanks spawnofyorkshire, sounds like it’s vaguely worth a punt then and surely beats the oft-advised “block of wood and a hammer” approach hands down 😉

As far as I can see Cyclus don’t do one that does both sizes unfortunately.
