    I don’t think Putin asked the paintings to be painted. He’s being satirised (or perhaps more appropriately Satyrised)

    I saw a piece with him at a Russian school recently where he was telling the children Russia was coming to the aid of the Russians in Ukranian, protecting them from a tyrany in the same way Russia resisted Hitler in the 1940’s
