Amber came home tonight. Mild concern about how our 8 year old Lab would take it lasted about 2 mins. He’s a bit rough but all good. Super pup, very confident and a real cute-y. Enough of that, here are the pics!

Well based on the fact that Murf basically has his 7pm work and then clears his busy social schedule to lie on his back and snore for the rest of the evening, there’s already been a bit of a change. He’s definitely a whole lot more animated. And I think the pup smells good!

4am pup woke up. First few nights we’ll be going and seeing her until she feels totally comfortable in her new home. It’s like having small kids again!

Pup escaped last night. Only meant to be roaming the kitchen which has an easy to clean floor. Obviously she decided the oak floor would be a better thing to poo on 😉 Ah well it needed waxing anyway. Amber was a bit smelly so had a bath. Fair to say didn’t particularly enjoy it.

I’m off for a ride to wake myself up. It’s like having small children again!

Been with us for a week now. Top pup. Nearly housetrained but total hooligan (not all shredded paper!). Murf still coming to terms with a very needy new friend.

Our puppy and dog loved playing tug games. Until the puppy mistook his testicles for a chew toy. Her feet came off the ground as he whipped round. Lots of blood.

He didn’t forgive her until she came on heat.

Amber is pretty fearless but Murf is such a laid back dog, he puts up with her abusing him. He’s swatted her a couple of times when she’s tried to chew his face 😉 Best fun is outside when they get hold of either end of a long stick. Pup basically ends up doing ‘wall of death’ as they run round in circles. Must try and get a pic…

Sorry to say it but she looks a wrong’un and i foresee trouble ahead.

I do run a cutebad dog re-homing service and will offer my services. For erm, errr, your safety, yes, your safety.

Vets on Thurs after which she can start to explore beyond the boundaries of the garden. Assuming she’s learning off the big fella, we’ll be fetching her out of cow-poo for the foreseeable future…

I’ve said it before. That pup just looks naughty!

Those paws are just getting bigger. She’s definitely going to be trouble.

Grown loads in a week. Could only just get her legs in the bucket this morning for a bath. Put on nearly a kilo which considering she was only just over 6kg when we got here is going some! Vets today for second round of injections, all good.

Getting better at sit, down, wait, etc… no peeing on the kitchen floor? Not going quite so well 😉

Can’t believe how much she’s grown. She can no longer walk under Murf without bending down. We’ve mostly stopped her biting his ears now 😉 He wanders round with an expression I mostly translate as ‘DON’T LET HER FIND ME’ 🙂
