    Is this still around? I remember seeing it a lot as a kid, which is pretty ridiculous considering how old it is. I never actually liked it that much but I found out the other day that the gobbledygook language is actually Palare, which is pretty interesting!

    Polari in Punch and Judy? Are you sure you’re not confusing it with Round the Horne?

    Though https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polari does indeed reference Punch and Judy and suggests quite a lot of the language is of Italian origin.

    To be honest I can only remember ‘that’s the way to do it’ and lots of kazooing. There may have been some Polari in there, or it might be someone’s idea of a Wikipedia joke! 🙂
