    It’s autumn.

    No, really it is.

I’ve just come in from a 4hr ride on Mr Schmancy* ( my new Niner29erSS ) and as much as i hate riding in the rain I just had to go out and play. So it pissed it down as I left and it was still pissing it down when I came back in. I wish I’d taken my Autumn gloves and some overshoes.
Still Mr Schmancy made me smile like a Cheshire cat all the way round.

I am failing on one major point here in my build, I just couldn’t be bothered going tubeless.. I know, I know how utterly shamefull.

Stinging legs from brambles and nettles and a funny smell coming from the washing machine… Mud.

*i am patenting the name Mr Schmancy, so go get yer own.

    Beer tonight,

    Fab day.

You ride a bike named MrSchmancy?

despite 2minutes of spotting rain at the end of my ride, All was dry or loamy-dry for me this afternoon

Having gone september or gone september 21st, yes it is autumn

….other days Mr Schmancy will make you feel totally inadequate. That’s how it goes.

btw, wet is more likely to get flats, and way less fun to fix. now is when you really want tubeless on… him.

Mr Schmancy 🙄 You’re going to regret telling us this!

*registers illicit forum persona, MrSchmancy* – I see him as belligerent, condescending and overestimating his own abilities
