Disappointed we have to wait until 2018, I think the first series was September last year.
That’s fairly quick, they have all the sets ready made, the location sets established, cast and costume already sorted, so they only needed confirmation that a second series was being green-lit, they probably already had scripts prepared as well, confident that it was going to a second series from early responses.
It probably took a couple of years to get the first series done, if not longer; there’s a hell of a lot going on, and there’s a hint there might be a Samurai World in this series, so even more sets, costumes, actors to put together.
Really looking forward to it, I thoroughly enjoyed the first series, it went places I never expected it to go.
