Not sure if it’s been done but they’re buy one, get one half price this weekend. If you need a couple it seems to be the best price around atm.

That’s the old model – the newer 598 is better in almost every respect (better wheel trays and straps with a proper ratchet to tighten, a pre-set torque limit on the downtube clamp and better jaws to prevent downtube damage, way way way easier to switch the side that the dial sits on etc) and is worth the extra cash.

Also – Halfords don’t deserve your money. 😉

598’s also have adaptors for them so they can also take plus and fat bikes.

598’s are also a boat load more cash. 😉

Got three in the garage we no longer use.

I’ve got 591s – if I was buying now I’d happily pay the extra for the 598s – even with those discounted 591s being available.
