Not sure this has been posted under its own thread yet. A repeat of the even from 2 years ago, with 2 courses this year, both of which have had some serious work done this year.

Leave your chain at home (no seriously, if you have a chain on, your time won’t count).

The preferencial time for the trailbuilders’ entry has gone now so remaining places are up for grabs, entry MUST be by British Cycling website.

Gutted that I signed up to Tough Mudder at Skipton the same weekend. 13 mile run or this, would have been an easy choice.

Why would you do that, obviously our thing is so much better, it has bikes, for a start!!!

Little bump for the evening crowd.

This year’s Chainless Challenge will feature two courses – top of the Descent Line and the Red descent (the one with the berms).
Concept is simple, whip your chain off and pump your way down the trail against the clock as quick as you can!

Entry is just £5.50 with all proceeds going to SingletrAction funds and back into the trails we all love to ride 🙂

Free bump from me. Can’t make it but sounds like fun. Went to Stainburn for the first time on Sunday and really enjoyed it – the black is tough though!

The black is tough, I’ve been building and riding there for years and I still can’t ride bits of the Boulder Trail 😳

Any way back to the Chainless thing, if anyone wants to enter but has been put off by the British Cycling online entry, don’t be. You don’t have to be a BC member or licence holder just register your details when you enter. Entry is possible on the day but it’ll be easier all round to do it in advance 🙂

I keep thinking I can ride all the boulder, then I ride it and realise I go round a few bits…

A few more last minute improvements made this Sunday to give the best race possible!

Is that a new double before the right-hander exiting the woods on the red descent. Haven’t been up for a few weeks, need to check that out.

Yeah, on the red bermy bit, more of a step down really.
