When i’m travelling for a ride I find a tub of recovery drink much easier to transport than a chicken and oven for some reason.
Also, i’m sure you realise that one of the proteins found in milk is absorbed much slower than the whey typically found in a recovery drink.

I’m the same. But it’s always the same inevitable responses whenever anyone brings up protein powder, recovery drinks etc.

Spartan Protein, Torq and Hi5 all work for me.

I like the choc flavour and often keep a pre-made bottle in the van for after big rides.

Tend to have choc milk at home instead though.
