After a lovely time out in the peak with the kids I called in decathlon this afternoon, long story short came out to find oiks having a look at nicking my bike which was on the roof of my car.
I challenged the scum and after a fair exchange of words mostly quite aggressive on their part they left in a 60 plate focus, a hire car according to the police who were there within minutes of a 999 call. I was pretty shaken but the coppers said I'd done the right thing fronting up to them. I don't see why someone should feel they have the right to someone else's property but hey that's the world some live in.
So a word of warning to them just popping in for a bit of this and that. Oh and decathlon haven't got CCTV which is handy!

Glad you still have it. Considering it's a pay and display, they should consider getting CCTV. How's things?

cheers baldy, i'm good cheers, working riding and living! ourkid, i took the reg plate and it popped up on their system as a rental, how it was paid for i have no idea nor what happens now.

Rental car hirer should be easy to track down given all the fuss I have to go through to hire one.

I hope so given the aggressive nature of the oiks. Who knows, chalk it up to experience.
