Saves killing my P&K lie on dirty wheels

Mine arrived today, I bought at the same price over the black Friday weekend. There is a good chance the same deal will come around again before new year is over.

I looked at this offer earlier – I’d have gone for it but I keep wondering about the tacx exact because it looks like it’s got a clamp for fixing temporarily to a desk/table

Questions, then, if anyone knows please:

1) Is the tacx one shit ?
2) Am I right that the on-one version doesn’t have a QR clamp ?

they have a sort of g-clamp on the base that clamps on to the edge of a desk

The on one can be screwed down but if it’s like my park one it’s never needed it as you just lean it forward to rest on the arm adjuster.

Collected the thing from my parents and have stuck a spare wheel or two in it. For £50 I think this is a good deal. It’s a pretty solid lump and whilst not exactly a precision instrument it is way more solid than I expected. If,like me,you are too lazy to make your own following Roger Musson’s instructions this is a pretty good buy.
