Just so people are aware, been a few reports of the trails in Clyne, Swansea being booby trapped with logs across the trail on blind corners, in the troughs of rollers etc and even branches locked across the trail at neck height. Both on the official mtb trails and open accesss paths.

Not come across anything in Clyne itself recently but had a log across the bridleway from Clyne common to Mill Lane a few weeks back. Far too big for my feeble bunny hops too

Probably the same people doing it – that bridleway is only a few hundred metres from the trails that were sabotaged.

If you see anyone doing it try to get a picture (on your phone) and report it to the police. We’re (Clyne Riders/MTB Pigs) a bit concerned that it’s happening too often now, and the logs that I moved this week seemed placed to deliberately injure.

    Take care riding anything blind.

Not clyne but nearby- I found a fallen tree dragged across a trail on Kilvey a few weeks ago, luckily I was trundling down on a warm up run.

One of the built mtb trails up there or just a walkers path / fire-road?
