I don’t think this has been done here yet but it’s a pretty active topic on various forums.

Mflow are a music download company with a twist. Not going into details on here but basically, to get numbers up, They’re selling a whole heap of albums (some current) for £1 if you sign up, then “like” them via Facebook. Also, if you sign up via THIS link, you start with a £1 credit for free (and I get credit too, for those wondering) so the first album’s complete free!

Loads more info on MSE – http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=3150352&page=3 including a seperate link for those wanting to check it out direct.

DD – any albums with an easter egg by the purchase price can be had for £1.
If you click the easter egg, then “like” the album on Facebook, the price changes to £1

Uh oh – just realise a flaw in my plan – anyone who joins via the link above will see my dodgy taste in music 😳

VortexRacing – you need to use Facebook to get the £1 price on albums. When you click the link to “Like” a particular album, the price drops to 99p on the site.

I honestly can’t see any albums, let alone Easter Eggs. I have signed up from the link above, and it hasn’t put £1 in my account..what am I doing wrong?

sc-xc. You need to sign up using the link, then click through the confirmation email you get sent. £1 is then added to your account. And it doesn’t seem possible to just get a list of albums available. You need to click the “discover” tab, then search for the albums/artists you’re interested in.

The “easter egg” 99p albums do seem to keep changing – some have gone, others have appeared. A good way to check for new ones is to click on the “trending” tab, then on “trending albums” on the list on the left – that gives you a list of the most popular albums at the time.

edit: another way to look for bargains is to search for #Easter, or #Easteregg

cheers for that, plugged the weekend void with a couple of albums (hunting through the easter eggs is a ball-ache and a half though, eh?)

now spotify’s putting the squeeze on, i can see this being my go to place for trying out albums prior to buying proper physical versions.

incidentally, should anyone be struggling to waste some money on there, this is outstanding (albeit a pound cheaper on Play & Amazon)

No problem guys. Certainly seems to be a bargain offer while it lasts. I’ve probably used it more for streaming tbh – it’s good to listen to albums without ads prior to buying them. An alternative to Spotify now they’re clamping down a bit.

spasmic gerkin (?!) just listening to your link at the moment – like it so far 🙂 .

Oh, and the Motorhead back catalogue has all just appeared as 99p easter eggs too 🙂
