    – and you’ll always be carrying the shifters right there on your bars ready to use if you ever decide to go geared – handy!

    I had that particular model about 5 or 6 years ago I think. Not as big a bargain as you might be led to believe!

    Actually, having done some sums, I’d sooner have a newer set of Deore brakes and shifters for nearly the same money

    Think they’re superb mesel, but like Benji says they’ve been hauled out of the back of the warehouse. Was running those years back.

    Had some of those back in 2004 – I actually really liked them! I’d think they would be ace for a flat barred, disc braked city bike. In fact……must resist!
