I’ve been watching the BBC4 re-runs of season1 for the last 6 weeks or so, all good reminiscing stuff (was a tad puzzled as to why they were showing it again, but not enough to google investigate). Have seen a few ads in the last week or 2 promoting League of Gentlemen returns, but just assumed it was return to re-runs ie season2 next, not completely new stuff. Shame, don’t think I’m particularly thick, so musn’t have been obvious to lots of people that it was promoting completely new material.

Kids – this is what TV used to be like. Quality. Especially the hedgehog.

Was it papa Lazarus on the shipping forecast? I listened to a pod cast about the new episodes and they said it was hard to bring him back on screen due to blacking up might be why they made babs so militant. And the no 9 on the door of tubs flat very good
