How do the bibs size up?? The sizes are sm/med .. so are they a small or a medium?

Pretty stretchy material. I’m 5’10, 32″ waist and the S/M fit me great.

Anybody 6′ 1 and 34 waist? What size bib shorts?

Rik, I’ve got the bigger ones. M/L they will fit you fine. Great shorts as is the matching long sleeve jersey.

Cool thanks for the comment, but the sizing only comes in s/m and l/xl

So is l/xl suitable for 34 inch waist?

Bibs arrived today – great fit and look well made, great deal 😀

I ordered two pairs of the howies 3/4 bib shorts from sports pursuit so i have a small/medium size to send back unless someone wants them?, if you err on the side of small then they’d be perfect, but if you err on the larger side of medium i figure they’d be rather tight around the leg & thigh area.

Have you tried them on? I’d say I was the larger end of medium and they fit perfect. Lots of stretch in them.

I’ll give you £25 if you really don’t want them…

The large i ordered fit better despite me being only 65kg/33″ waist – guess i’m a weird shape?, which is a distinct possibility 😉

If no one want’s them i’ll return them

Iain, do yours have a care label? Mine don’t, strangely.

I’m 5’10” medium build and found the s/m too tight.

Nobeer – Yes, tucked inside the rhs strap, opposite side from the wee flag emblem

there must be some variation in size, I’m 6’2″, 36″ waist and a big bastard. L fits fine!.

Think its just your spandex days making a return Greg 😀

L/XL for me after speaking to Howies. 6’2″ 33″ waist,33″ leg 12st 6lbs. They fit well but I find are much shorter in the leg than previous knickers.
