Been listening for around 40minutes now, the man is a genius and I mean that word fully

Can’t stand Colin Murray but may put up with him to listen to this.

Fascinating bit of insight into the state of professional cycling at the time Obree broke the world hour record…

Some of the TDF riders came upto him asking what he had taken for the record thinking that Obree had found a new performance enhancing substance.

Little did they realise the secret was a part from Obree’s washing machine (plus an incredible effort and fitness level from Obree of course).

It was a good listen. The film and book were both inspiring and sad, sounds like he is now happy with his life.

The greatest cyclist ever 🙂

I hated the book. Might give the interview a go on listen again.

Look up the Velo Club Don Logan podcast, they did an hour long interview with Obree.
