    Public Service Announcement:

For those who don’t know, there’s a cricket mini game on the google.co.uk home page, helping to ruin Friday’s productivity.

Suffice to say I can’t do better than 39 – so I don’t believe anything over that.

Screenshots or it didn’t happen 😆

111, Nelson, would you believe it. There’s a lot of value in the nurdle to leg, Cook style!

56- strictly leg side nurdling with a few back over the bowler’s head straight sixes. He keeps setting me up tho, a few fall tosses then a slower ball and I’m gone!

How do you hit it anywhere other than mid wicket? I could keep on hitting it there all day and only get out when adjusting the timing to see if it’s possible to hit it anywhere else.

    This

101 best so far. Averaging over 50…

How do you hit it anywhere other than in the gap between square leg and mid wicket?

    It’s all in the… timing.

Just wait for the ball to come onto you a bit more. Plenty of 4’s & 6’s on the offside..

I’ve had a few Root-esque on drives and some 20-20 type biffing, but when it gets faster I just go back to being a bit early and it’s all leg side. Then got done but a slower one! 92. Stopping now.

ahh, got the hang now. Still not got much to go square of the wicket either side. It’s the long hop that seems to get me out every time.

Not working for me, I just get the standard Google doodle. Anyone care to post a direct URL I can use please?

play it late, i had 5 6’s in a row but always get done with the slower ball.
just see the ball early and say to yourself ‘slow’ or ‘fast’ and time accordingly.

Either that was some good cutting and pasting or you had one hell of a boring afternoon!
