The Cycle Surgery on Strype St have obviously cleared out some cupboards and have an odds-and-ends rummage table with some interesting stuff on it.

Some for dead cheep (like the budgie) headsets, brakesets, derailleurs, pedals, brake levers, calipers, a box full of Hope Mono 6Ti(?) brake pads, rotors, seatposts…

Nothing world-beating, but you might find the last piece of a jigsaw, or maybe some cheap spares box stuff for what you’ve got.

There’s a second table at the back with more! You could put together a set of XTR disc brakes for £140, some buy it quick (please)

Strype is now the MTB specialist store. Some great riders working in there, notably the lanky beanpole manager that is James (Waves!).

There’s some lovely retro stuff lurking in the depths of the Surgery, just wish they’d do a retro auction one day!

Well I’ve just come back from here and I almost bought a SRAM XX crankset BB30 as the RRP was £485, in the sale..£175.. Nope I kid you not, it’s still there because MrSchmancys EBB doesn’t take BB30. 😛
