Was playing on my 8yr old cousins BMX today – got to take him to the new skatepark thats been built 2 mins from my house tomorrow.

How do i tell the wife i now want a bmx… Will have to take the Five and see how i get on with him.

Great for the free running and mtb.

Not so good for the bloke who dances with his BMX and the skateprancer

I reckon the BMXy one is by far the best. Danny and the skater are technically good, but the films just didn’t flow well. The BMX film made it look like he was just taking all his anger and sadness out on the bike. Somehow he was fighting and dancing with it at the same time.

EDIT: And the parcours film was just ridculous.

Free running best, then the freaky BMX. Danny and Skater a bit bland I thought.

It may be because I haven’t seen many free running/flatland things before though.

The street running was devalued by the ridiculous plot o though, which was a shame because those guys are unreal. Danny McRadical on the cable; fair bloody play!

Best PSA this year. Me and kids are glued.

There was one excellent film maker and 3 good subjects.

The film maker bossed it IMO.

Free running far too cheesy IMHO.. great bit of parkour, just miade into a crap film..

Skating – best imagination and tricks
BMX – my favourite but the snow flake/dust/pollen effect annoyed me and i think detracted from the film
Trails – riding on a wire!!
Free running – cheesy start to the film, but was best put together and the leaps the guy in the red top was doing scared me, which is a good thing.

The best thing, though, is i can watch this again and again at work because i get to research these sports! 😀

Thought the Skateboarding was great, the filmaking added to the action rather than messing it up with silly gimmicks.

Danny Mac’s stuff pretty straightfoward really, picking a stunning location with lots of intersting obstacles and ride like a god.

The Parcour stuff was amazing but the sub James Bond plot and all the **** jump cuts and wipes, it was just trying too hard.

Flatland BMX was also spoiled by some pointless gimmicks and as skilled as that rider undoubtedly is its never going to be as breat taking as watching guys do backflips
