For info, an aurorawatch amber alert is a reasonable chance of northern lights making a show tonight. Possibly visible as far south as the north of England, although further south I understand there’s some fireworks.

And there was me thinking of looking for the contrials of alledged secret planes belting across the skys! Northern lights though, that would be cool to see. Not sure what will be brighter in Oxford, Northern Lights or London!
