Went for a wander around our local JTF Mega Discount Warehouse, and saw a little gem of a deal.

Own brand parts washer/degreaser. Classic red metal tin with pump in the bottom and tray to wash your parts in. RRP £80, up for £20 plus VAT.

There’s also a bigger size, didn’t really look but I think it’s a 6-7 gallon for around £35+VAT.

Now… I need a couple of gallons of degreaser to go in it… any deals around? 😛

Jizzer or Gunk from halfords on 3for2 when they do it (fairly often). Although 3 gallons of that stuff neat would degrease the average chav’s haircut and/or a whole fleet of car.

I started off careing when restoring bits of the Midget, in the end I stopped and just wiped the inside of parts with a rag before filling with fresh grease.

Anyone here with membership to the hucknall branch who might do me a favour?
