Hi all,
I have a problem where I have bent the screw out section of a presto tube, and now it stays inflated if I don't screw the upper part down, but if I do, it deflates.
This is the third tube Ive had this issue with, as I seem to be unable to inflate these without bending the valve. Any advice would be much appreciated. Used a variety of tubes, current one is a nearly new Continental.

A pump with hose, unless you're already using one. Bend back the valve stem, it's easily done with some pliers

I have one pump that does this. Others don't bend it.
