Seem decent value with 20% off at Merlin for what looks like could be a decently strong / light wheelset (650b version) at £160.

I know there have been deals on ss but they have no stock of qr adapters for the rear switch hubs.

You mean good hand built wheels or something branded as Pro?

Hand built all the way for me, especially if you can get the nipple colour to match

Abigales boyfriend has a set of the 650b ones built on Chosen hubs. Very well built and specked for the price.

Tracey, those are the ones I was thinking about. As you say seem well specced for the price. Just wondered about hub reliability.

Chosen make hubs for a lot of other companies. I was told that the rear is the same as what was fitted to some of the Stan’s ones but took it with a pinch of salt. So far they have been OK with no problems.

Decided to give em a try. Fingers crossed.
