It's fine written down but saying 'Privateer' out loud conjures visions of Philip Marlowe wandering down a 1930's Los Angeles boulevard listening very intently.
I have subscribed though - I've heard rumours Brant's todger puts in an appearance.

Doesn't look like it's due til October now. Though somebody's already said they've seen their mate's copy. Probably got it confused with Private Eye. Or a gentlemans magazine.

i thought they said that subs copy would be out around now and shop copy would be out in October.
I'm off on my holls tomorrow before the post so I quite fancied it before then.
ah well, I can look forward to it when I get back.

Had a quick look at a mates copy last night, it does look good.
Where did your mate get a copy from? If it's not due out till October I can't see why they would print copies then hold off sending them out. I can understand if there are mock-ups but not the final version.

The original e-mail I got from Rouleur said:-
"Privateer will go on sale on the 1st of October but if you subscribe now, the first issue will be mailed to you on the 17th of September."
Which would be nice, as that's my birthday

I just almost subscribed by direct debit, but can't bring myself to do it, even with the lure of a naked Brant.
They should send free copies to prominent Tweeters and bloggers
