I have a wireless epson xp-405 which is causing lots of issues. When i go to print, it eventually says there is an error printing, but does not say what it is. If I re-install the software it prints fine once, then the next time its error printing again. I have wiped all the printer software and updated the firmware, but same issue, prints ok once then errors.

I have tried taking any software off thats been put on recently, or since this issue started, but thats not helped.

What else can I do? (apart from thro this cheap printer out and buy another one.!)

You may have answered your own question, but I ended up solving a problem like this (with an HP) by unchecking the box that connects to the network automatically. No idea why that made a difference, mind.

Only problem is I now need to connect manually, but that only seems to be if I’ve logged in to other networks (i.e. been out with the laptop) or made some sort of change to it.
