After almost a year on the hardtail, and the last 2 months off the bike with a broken wrist, I spent the last few evenings putting all my new bits I’d been gathering over this time onto my old Rocket frame.(could probably do with a dropper though)
Plan was to make a mini DH/Alps bike to complement my hardtail-do-it-all trail bike.
Got it finished and out for a couple of hours last night and what a HOOT!
Felt like I could smash over anything, as the forks definitely saved my bacon a couple of times when I combined forgetting how to ride and my wrist being pretty weak still.

Feels ace to be back out with my buddies again, with my first UKGE race 3 weeks away and morzine 4 weeks away, the sun is out!
Hope this post inspires someone !

I can’t see beyond the truly dreadful seat QR position, I’m afraid.

I’m sure there’s a nice bike in there somewhere, but….

    😉

    That looks ace.

I am in process of building up a black/white bike in that kind of manner.

Aw, now I cannot see past it either.

Please, make it black and straighten it.
