…specifically the 30mm BB tool?

I’ll need a new bottom bracket as my current one is 24mm 🙁

Does the larger BB require a different tool to the 24mm one (which I have)? and if so does the array of tools that come with the hope cranks include anything for this?

Why do I have a feeling the answer is likely to be yes and then no….

I have the Hope bsa30 bb and it needs a unique spanner. However, I don’t run their cranks so can’t help on the other points.

Its a standard threaded BB shell and I would buy the 30mm Hope BB

UByk sell the BB with tool included at a good price.

Bought my Hope BB30 from Ubyk and the tool was included. Not sure if this has changed but worth contacting them. It is a different tool to the 24mm though.
