I’m looking to buy a general purpose pressure washer, decking, slabs, windows and the car. I’m not wanting to spend very much tbh but I don’t want to buy twice either.

    Any recommendations or guidelines?

Nilfisk have been better than Karcher, for me, personally, at the cheaper end of the scale.

Cheers kilo and funkweasel, I’ll have a look. I did find a Karcher and Nilfisk comparison.

Karcher online outlet store always have factory reconditioned ones going cheap. My little one is 5 y/o now and still great.

I had a Karcher 6060 for well over a decade without any problem that I ended up giving to my brother when his Nilfisk knackered up again.
I replaced it with the Karcher K4 Full Control. The newer one is lot quieter, the motor is water cooled so can be ran for much longer, slightly more power.
The light up panel on the handle is a gimmick but the patio cleaner it comes with is very good, much quicker and less mess than using a lance. Downsides it doesn’t have the built in drum for the hose storage.
