Yep, I was prejudiced and thought these Lycra clad roadies looked like knobs and rather sad individuals who hadn’t discovered mtb’ing. I mean why would anyone ride on the road for fun?

My loss, I’ve just completed a rather nice 61 mile loop on my road bike, saw hardly any traffic and had a fantastic ride. One of the best for a few years. The only tingle of regret is not acquiring a road bike years ago and this is my third month riding on the road and my mtb bikes haven’t been ridden.

Ok I might look like a knob in my Lycra but I simply don’t care 😀

Have you ever actually looked at your average Mountain Biker?

Ah, Tim minchin, great song that 😉 I once went up against him with my band on another stage at Beautiful Days festival. Cue empty tent, and sound of distant crowds laughing.

Back on topic. Yes, road bikes are good aren’t they (but so are mtbs!)
