Went to my favourite cinema (The Watershed) to see this on Tuesday night. I was a bit wary having heard the hype, and with the Oprah tag (although to be fair, just an executive role…something to do with investment in the distribution, no?), I was expecting to be disappointed. But no, it was a really really good watch. A proper heartwrenching tale, with very few cheesy uplifting moments. So if anyone is considering it, get thee to the flicks, if only to see the performances of the mother and daughter.

Oh and a word of warning for the STW fatists, there are a few people with weight issues!
