I have a set of Raceface Next SL cranks. I’ve replaced the Raceface BB with Hope’s 30mm offering. Raceface’s instructions say the width of the BB in the frame should be 98.1 +/- 1mm. The Hope BB is 1.5mm short.

Any reason why I couldn’t/shouldn’t put a 2.5mm spacer in the NDS to make up the required shortfall?

Should clarify my shell is 73mm & I already have 1 2.5mm spacer in the drive side.
