    Royal Mail aren’t too bad, I got a quote of £125 for a 20 kilo package with insurance to £500 on 5 day delivery to Finland

    Thanks Steve, I had a look at the Parcel Force website but it wouldn’t quote on line as bike box dimensions seemed to be too big…

    Try Interparcel – we’ve had no problems the odd time we’ve shipped to Europe.

    If anyone ever searches for this in future, TransGlobalExpress came up trumps. £55 to post a bike to Sweden via DPD, insured for £997*.

    *I should add the caveat that they haven’t actually collected it yet, but they’re due later today.
