Are posties working today?
Waiting on a package of bike stuff

I don’t think posties work Bank Holidays so your next possible delivery is Saturday then Tuesday.

I’ve got a bottle of Woodford Reserve en route which is apparently turning up today so I expect that’ll be DPD or similar.

No deliveries today, unless depot manager has authorised some bank hol overtime to clear any backlog, normal service tomorrow and that’s it until Tuesday.

Wish more bike stuff was on Amazon. Next day regardless of BH and if it’s in the warehouse, maybe even same day. Bike parts are frustrating having to often wait a week, just when you want to ride at the weekend.

I’d hazard a guess that Amazon delivery drivers don’t get extra premium for working bank hols, as far as I know, they are franchise delivery routes.

Safestyle uk came round to mine to offer me windows,doors or a conservatory. He clearly isnt sure of the product he is selling as i quite clearly i have all those in situ already to which he decided to agree with me and thanked me and moved on. i am sure he could have worked that out as he walked down our drive but obviously needed my reassuring tone just to be sure.

DPD don’t work bank holidays either.
