    Substitute "fork" for "for".

    sorry

    ok ,

My new fork is post mount , my previous fork was IS mount and the xt brakes used came with an 203mmIS adaptor. Could anyone please tell me which is the correct adaptor for using these brakes with the new fork.

    Thanks

Yes apologies, Ian identified my crucial spelling mistake.

if the caliper is IS and the fork is PM you need a PM to IS adaptor.

I would imagine you have a post mount caliper unless you have old 4 pot XT brakes. Therefore a post to post 203 adaptor would be the likely candidate.

Yes got it thanks, to Mister P and the man from Magura, just wanted to make sure as recently everything I have done with the bikes has ended up requirng more stuff.

    For example,

Rreplaced frame for larger size = new fork required as old steerer was too short

New forks post mount = new adaptor required for brakes

New frame = cable outers to short so expensive gore cables rendered useless.

all part of the process hey
