I'm getting really good at missing out on good cheap sus' frames because the new forum doesn't work the same. So does anyone have a nice 4in travel bike for sale for about £200 or possibly swap for my Medium (17.5in) Custard Cotic Soul? Or my bike plus cash if yours is a bit pimpier.
So far I've just missed out on a Giant Trance 3 and a Kona Dawg. But would like something XCish but fun to ride that I can use my Reba SL's on (85/100 or 115mm travel) so what's out there then?

Thanks Chris, I did see your ad I was tempted to go for it, but If I'm honest I'm looking for something that doesn't need any work doing and would like something a bit less racy and a bit more trail-bikish. Damn, that makes me sound really picky!

later this week I might have a Trance 2 frame (same era as Swayndo's) - large black, plus seatpost (RF), headset, seatclamp (fliplock) XT front mech. New Enduro and headset bearings mid 08 (and hasn't been used since Oct so as to avoid needing another set in all that mud)
Be looking for about £210 plus share of postage if not being collected (Guildford area)
A guy I know is interested and looking at it this evening as long as roads are OK, if not later this week, but if he doesn't want it it's up for grabs. Or going on ebay.
TrustyRusty, I've got a Turner 5-Spot - 2004/5 version that has 5-inches at rear so a bit more than you need but it's light enough for XC trail riding.
I am selling it for £500 ish with post, headset, seat clamp and front mech, but might be interested in a swap with some cash too?

You'll never believe this! Up until recently I was wanting to swap a medium 4" trail-ish frame for a Custard Cotic Soul! However, I now have the Cotic and am liking a lot but also still have the frame to sell and am wanting £200 + postage (or collection if you're anyway near Glasgow). All sounding promising me thinks!!?
The frame up for grabs is a 2002 Gary Fisher Sugar 2+ Disc and it makes a great bike (http://www.fisherbikes.com/archive/model/343), I've upgrade the stock shock to a Fox Float R and that made a massive difference. If you're planning to swap the bits from the Cotic everything fits aside from the seatpost, however I also have a seatpost and saddle up for grabs too (SDG i-Beam and SDG i-Fly). Everything is in reasonable nick for its age and my LBS checked the frame when taking the BB out and structurally its sound.
